The Post Secondary Education Programs Network (PEPNet) RESOURCE CENTER (PRC), located at the National Center on Deafness, provides information and research materials related to postsecondary education and deafness, Deaf culture and heritage, Sign Language, Sign Language studies, and interpreting.

What is the PEPNet Resource Center?


The Post Secondary Education Programs Network (PEPNet) RESOURCE CENTER (PRC), located at the National Center on Deafness, provides information and research materials related to postsecondary education and deafness, Deaf culture and heritage, Sign Language, Sign Language studies, and interpreting. Materials available through the PRC include:



  • Books
  • Dissertations
  • Documents
  • Flyers and Handouts about current events in the Deaf Community
  • Journals (American Annals of the Deaf, etc.)
  • Newsletters
  • Films and videos (including documentaries and interpreter training/practice tapes)

The PEPNet  also offer a wide variety of Technology Links and Publication Links.


The Northern Virginia Resource Center:  Provides an excellent list of all National Organizations and Publications in the United States.

Telephone Equipment Distribution Program:  Provides accessible telecommunications equipment for eligible consumers in North Carolina.
